I once envisioned being able to read a publication that was written and designed solely for supporters of the Chicago Fire. Inside would be unique feature stories, exclusive content, fan interviews, and much, much more. Eventually I decided I could be the one to make that happen. Ever since I started the Chicago Fire Blog, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed writing match previews, match analysis, news stories, feature stories, fan interviews and much more on men in red, but I wasn’t content. I’m now excited to have started a brand new project – the Chicago Fire Fanzine. After working on this online magazine for the past several weeks, I can hardly contain my excitement at the chance to finally publish the very first issue. So dive right in, get lost in a vast array of content related to the Chicago Fire, and happily spread the word if you feel obliged!
Two months after the debut of the Chicago Fire Fanzine in September, we’re back with November’s issue for a look back at the 2011 season and some of the highlights that defined this past campaign for the Chicago Fire. Inside this issue you’ll find plenty of great content, from the latest news and unique features to some of the best photos and statistics on the men in red.
With a vast array of articles included in Issue 2, I hope this will go some way to helping ease some of the end-of-season withdrawals. More than anything, I hope you enjoy reading this month’s issue as we reflect on the 2011 season and look forward to a good off-season and a fantastic season next year.
Cheers!
